February 24: Arrival at Negombo, Welcome Party
Welcome on arrival at the Colombo airport by our Hosts. Short transfer by private car to beach resort in Negombo for lunch.
7pm : Welcome Garden Party hosted at the picturesque gardens of The Jetwing Blue. Mingle and network with your fellow CC colleagues whilst wining and dining.
10 pm : Partying at Zouk Night Club along Negombo’s lively street.
February 25: Shopping / Sight-Seeing in Colombo, Casino Visit & Beach Cocktails
8am : Breakfast at Jetwing Blue
8:30am : Travel to Colombo (45 min drive) to explore the Capital City to explore the Fort and the Galle Face Promonade overlooking the Indian Ocean, The Independence Commemoration Square and the famous Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple.
1pm : Lunch at The Dutch Hospital precinct, a colonial era building converted into a shopping and dining arcade.
2pm : Visit Casino / Shopping mall (One Galle Face Mall, Sri Lanka’s biggest mall)
4pm : Transfer back to Jetwing Blue in Negombo
6pm : Jazz with sundowner cocktails, bubbly and wine on the beach, followed by a full blown party on the famous Negombo Beach.
February 26: Water Sports/Local Tour & Gala Dinner
8am : Breakfast at Jetwing Blue
8:30am : Split into 2 groups and travel to Colombo
Group 1 :
9:30am – 11am : Water Sports at the brand new Port City Marina.
11:30-1pm : Spend time exploring the shopping opportunities at the Colombo Good Market, promoting home grown products.
Group 2 :
9:30-11am : Spend time exploring the shopping opportunities at the Colombo Good Market, promoting home grown products
11:30-1pm : Water sports at the brand new Port City Marina.
Combined :
1: 30pm : Lunch at Park Street Mews. Visit an exhibition by the Geoffrery Bawa trust, at the Part Street Stables. Showcasing the work of the Sri Lanka’s world famous archietect, Geoffrey Bawa.
3:30pm : Travel back to Jetwing Blue Negombo
6:30pm : Transfer from Jetwing Blue to Arie Lagoon
7pm : Pre Gala cocktails followed by Gala dinner and awards night by the Negombo Lagoon, at Arie Lagoon.
