I would now like to take this further and add in some graphics as shown in the pic on my first post. I can add in the graphics but no idea how to use the outline to go around the whole thing as it does in the first pic. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Fri Sep 14, pm Stef, Ive been playing around and I have managed to do this. To reset all styles applied to an image, click Reset at the bottom of the Show or Hide Tool Options from the View menu at the top of your screen.

See Interface overview to learn more about the Tools sidebar. This is pretty much the same in Pixelmator Pro and Classic Pixelmator, just that the tools are in a different place. The text tool has a fill which can be applied to the whole text object, or letter by letter. The text fill can be over-ridden and a stroke can be added using the Style tool the top tool in the tools palette.

Oct 17,  · The outline can be done by applying a stroke to an object that has a transparent background. For example the image below is four simple layers, from top to bottom: text with white fill (no stroke) text with 35px black stroke. text with 50px red stroke. black background. You don\’t say whether you\’re using Pixelmator or Pixelmator Pro so. Click in the Tools sidebar. Choose Tools > Type (from the Tools menu at the top of your screen). Press the T key on your keyboard. Select the layer or layers you would like to edit. In the Tool Options pane, click the Text Styles pop-up menu at the top, then click a preset to apply it.
