I have been trying to upgrade my machine from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro but nothing seems to work. Yes I do have the generic Pro key. I also have enterprise keys from the company I work for but I was told that I would have to do a clean install from their volume license installation center.

I will proceed with the Pro key so I can simply upgrade without deleting any apps or data. Now just to confirm, I should go offline and go about doing the install through the windows media creation tool again? Will it prompt me to choose a version this time or at least allow me to enter the Pro product key once it has reinstalled?
