I had the same problem, getting the stripped down verison 7 which comes in the download under the production suite.

Then i tired the Squeeze 8 download from their website and then I get the lite version. It was never stated which version when Avid said what was in the version 6 of Media composer, so they should give everyone the same full version of Squeeze rather then the crippled version which forces most users to upgrade again!

So for those of us who are upgrading IF Squeeze 8 Lite is what ships with MC6, then it isn\’t that great of a deal if we need a non-Lite version because we all have at least 6 or older to upgrade for a cheaper price.
