MS now has 2 channels to support for Office applications and the CTR doesn\’t not seem to be a priority, at least not for Access and at least not in this regards. To be fair, the Access community has and is pushing for a CTR runtime version. We keeping our fingers crossed on this! So this issue been around for 3 versions if you count the demo versions of office. So for CTR officethen installing runtime or runtime is the only solution we have. Right now for a given version of Office we have 6 versions of Access, and if we get a CTR version, then we have 8 versions of Access for a given version of office.
