Do you recommend the physical book which I normally like or would the kindle app load well on my ancient backup HP running vista-I like to keep stuff off the music music mac and that way i can look at 2 screens-etc.
Question-is there any search function in the kindle app-say if you get stuck to just type in a word-or maybe it\’s just as easy to look up the appendix and it comes up–any thoughts on the physical vs kindle?
Wed Mar 22, pm Add the master track to the mix then use automation to fade it. To add the master track to the mix add a new audio track, right click on it and re-assign track and select the master output.
Then add volume automation. Wed Mar 22, pm jeffloven wrote: Thanks Dave. Wed Mar 22, pm Thanks kerochan!! I appreciate your recommendation! Thu Mar 23, am David\’s book is, in my experience, the single best way to learn the ins and outs of Logic Pro. Logic Pro Thu Mar 23, am.

Thu Mar 23, am Yes, exactly that. Late Mac Mini 2. Thu Mar 23, pm Another thing that you might notice, if you listen to the fade-outs at the end of commercial songs, is the individual tracks often fade at slightly different rates: one track \”completely disappears\” moments before the others do. For instance, the strings go first, then the piano, then the percussion. To your ear, it appears that the quietest instruments disappeared first, but you realize that it was more deliberate.
And, the rate at which each fade occurs might or might not be linear. I\’ll scrub to the point where the fades should begin, and click on the volume track at their current levels to establish a control-point which marks \”the volume is this at this point in time. Other instruments\’ zero points might be slightly earlier. I have also heard songs where one instrument effectively \”foreshadowed\” the upcoming fade, by almost-imperceptibly beginning to fade before the actual fade begins — perhaps \”fading very slightly\” before \”fading in earnest\” along with the rest of them.
All of this is very easy to do with volume automation if you don\’t care to \”ride the faders. Mike Robinson \”I wanna quit being a computer consultant and become a composer and arranger at age fifty- nevermind. Thu Mar 23, pm kerochan wrote: bigbuddha23 wrote: there are 2 ways to do a fade out.
