The only problem I ran into with it was one that apparently many people had come across as well where I would enter the serial number and it would say it was going to restart, but nothing would happen.

I was able to compose some music after using it for an hour. Obviously, it wil take longer to take advantage of all the features. I did find getting access to the included loops was confusing. I had to go to the Help Menu and select a loops download option.
